Phase II

The PC&T Process

Phase II

After evaluating your technology to determine the opportunities for sale and licensing, an intellectual property protection strategy needs to be designed.

Please keep in mind that this is a strategy or a game plan.  It is subject to changes as the project develops, but it allows you to evaluate and analyze your initial risks, and gives you a position from which to adapt.

This strategy can include protection in a number of forms:

  •     Patents
  •     Copyrights
  •     Trademarks
  •     Trade Secrets
  •     Licensing and Contractual Protection

We also evaluate the risks, benefits, and costs of each of these in conjunction with your business goals, potential licensees, or other business issues.

We can help determine how to best protect your project, at the lowest initial cost, while keeping open as many options as possible.
